MICHAEL J. HENRY
Michael (“Mike”) J. Henry, is originally from Northwest Florida, being born at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City. Mike practices in Dunlap & Shipman’s Santa Rosa Beach office focusing his practice in the areas of Community Association Law, Real Property Disputes, Creditor’s Rights and Real Estate Closings.
Mike has handled foreclosure and collection cases for various regional banks, condominium and homeowner associations. He also handles real property disputes dealing with landlord/tenants, seller/purchaser disputes, and construction defects.
Mike has been active in his community having been a past president of both the Walton County Bar Association and Bay County Bar Association, the past president of Walton County Habitat for Humanity and 2012-2013 graduate of Leadership Walton.
Prior to attending law school, Mike obtained membership in the Professional Golf Association (“PGA”) of America and served as a golf professional in South Carolina, Illinois and Florida. He lives in Santa Rosa Beach with his wife and two children and enjoys playing golf and softball and participation in the Krewe of Dominique Youx.
Mike is licensed to practice in all Florida State Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Florida.
Mr. Henry earned a B.S. Business Administration in Marking/Professional Golf Management from Coastal Carolina University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law.
