A Cedartown, Georgia native, Jake has called the panhandle his home for over 15 years.
Jake received his law degree from The University of Florida. While in Gainesville, Jake worked for the esteemed late Gloria Fletcher, esquire, acquiring valuable litigation experience in the civil and criminal arenas.
Before law school, Jake attended The University of the South, where he was a member of the Order of the Gownsmen academic honor society and the starting linebacker on the football team, earning a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
Prior to joining the firm, Jake practiced for over 2 years in Ft. Walton Beach in the areas of Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Real Property Litigation, Construction Litigation, Condominium and Community Association Law , and Criminal Defense. Jake was also an Assistant State Attorney in Panama City for almost 5 years, where he obtained numerous felony trial convictions over the course of his prosecutorial career.
Jake lives in Panama City with his wife, son, dog, and cat Mr. Button. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, paddleboarding, Kiwanis events, and exploring the outdoors of real Florida.
