Ethan Katz joined Dunlap & Shipman, P.A. in February of 2018.  His practice is primarily focused on construction litigation, civil litigation, commercial litigation, employment litigation, and business law.


Ethan holds a Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law.  At FSU Law, Ethan concentrated in business law and was conferred the FSU Law certificate in business law with high honors. Ethan also holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida, Rinker School of Building Construction, where he graduated with honors.


Ethan has a broad range of hands-on construction experience.  Before joining the firm, Ethan had an 11-year career in project management with a large construction management firm specializing in commercial, institutional, and healthcare construction.  During that time, Ethan served as lead project manager for several multi-million-dollar projects built for a wide range of private commercial clients. Ethan is a Florida Certified General Contractor, a LEED Accredited Professional, Green Globe Certified, and holds an ASHE certificate in healthcare construction.


Ethan is licensed to practice law in all Florida courts, as well as the United States Federal District Courts for the Northern,  Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
