DIXIE DAIMWOOD

Dixie Daimwood, an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, is a partner in the firm’s Tallahassee, Florida office. Dixie’s practice areas include construction defects, property coverage disputes, labor and employment, contract and business litigation, and appeals.

She has represented clients in state, federal, administrative, and appeals courts throughout Florida.  Her clients have ranged from counties to large corporations to small businesses and homeowners. Following law school, she was a Prosecutor in Orlando, Florida where she litigated over 50 trials.  She then served in Florida’s Attorney General’s Office as a Senior Criminal Appeals attorney.

Dixie is active in her community serving as a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem for abused, abandoned, and neglected youth, an active member with Alpha Delta’s Pi’s Alumni Association, and a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee’s Class 33.  Her Leadership’s class project was the creation of a children’s library in an underserved side of Tallahassee where children are encouraged to keep the books and community leaders offer reading time.

Prior to law school, Dixie was a Golden Girl (Florida State University’s dance team), on a competitive clogging team, and on a national award-winning high kick dance team.  Now, in her spare time, Dixie enjoys cheering on the Florida State Seminoles and trying to keep up with her two small children.
