DAVISSON F. DUNLAP,III

Davisson F. Dunlap, III is originally from Tallahassee, and is the managing partner of the firm’s Tallahassee office. Davisson’s extensive practice includes construction litigation; civil litigation; commercial litigation; business law and transactions; labor and employment defense; lien and bond law; real estate litigation, condominium and community association law; and insurance defense. Davisson represents most of his clients in a general representation capacity and provides his clients with a broad range of legal experience and services through consultation, negotiation, trials, and appeals.

He has represented clients in state and federal courts in Florida. He represents both public and private clients including both small and large businesses as well as individuals.

He is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.  He received his B.A. from the University of Florida and his J.D. from Florida State University’s College of Law.

Davisson has been Board Certified by the Florida Bar as an Expert and a Specialist in Construction Law.  He is the coauthor of the “Recoverable Damages” chapter published in the Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Editions of the Florida Bar’s Florida Construction Law and Practice.

Over the years, Davisson has created and taught numerous legal education programs aimed at educating individuals and businesses on how to manage risks in the field of construction, business, contracts, lien and bond law, and labor and employment.

He is an avid bird hunter, fisherman, and Florida Gator. He and his wife are blessed to be raising their two children in Tallahassee.
